Passionate about their craft, these artists draw inspiration from painting and sculpture traditions, crafting everything from djembés and talking drums to bracelets, necklaces, and hand-thrown terracotta vessels. They also create striking wooden portraits and drawings depicting figures from antiquity through contemporary times.

The Kpalimé region is equally renowned for its artisans who specialize in decorative objects.
