The Savanes Region is the northernmost region of Togo, with Dapaong as its capital. It covers an area of 8,602 km² and has an estimated population of 659,444 inhabitants.

This region is characterized by exceptionally flat savanna vegetation, intriguingly punctuated by verdant hills rich in rock hyraxes—the natural domain of the borassus palm, traditional farming with draught animals, and cattle herding. Settlements often retain their traditional character, with round huts dotting the landscape.

The region boasts remarkable historical and cultural treasures, including the rock paintings of Namoudjoga and the caves of Nano.

The Savanes Region is subdivided into 4 prefectures: Oti, Tone, Kpendjal, and Tandjouaré
